Amarelinha, Le mobile & Un orteil dans le vide

Poster and material design for La marche du crabe. Driven by a desire to form real artistic connections with children, the collective produces an array of multidisciplinary shows that are kinaesthetic in nature. Some of these productions include “Le Mobile (Under the Mobile)," “Un orteil dans le vide,” and  “Amarelinha”. “Le Mobile” is an immersive experience meant to introduce toddlers to performance art. “Un orteil dans le vide," a playful fusion of dance and circus, explores the delicate space between two strangers who have started taking the steps towards knowing each other. Finally, “Amarelinha” is an in situ play which is meant to be performed outside (in an alley behind a house, for example) in tandem with a game of hopscotch; the story unfolds as the players toss their markers onto the court, where each square represents a different stage of life’s journey.
